Delete Your RepairKhata Account
Effective Date: October 24, 2026
The free RepairKhata app has no account. Everything you enter stays on your phone or computer. To remove it, use More → Delete all data in the app, or uninstall the app. This page is about the paid Online plan (staff sign-in and sync).
How to Delete Your Online Account
Option 1: In the app
- Open RepairKhata and go to More → Online (staff & sync).
- Tap Delete online account and confirm.
If you pay for the Online plan, cancel it in Google Play first (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions); the app asks you to.
Option 2: By email
Email tapasdutta@outlook.com from the Google (Gmail) account you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my RepairKhata account". We will delete it within 7 days and reply to confirm.
What Gets Deleted
- Your sign-in: your Google account name, email and sign-in tokens.
- Every shop you own, with all its synced records on our server (customers, jobs, payments, stock, staff list and purchase records).
- Your access to shops where you are staff.
What Is Not Deleted
- Data already on your phones and computers stays there — they just stop syncing. Use "Delete all data" in the app to remove it from a device.
- Backups you made to your own Google Drive stay in your Drive.
- Records the law requires us to keep, if any.
Processing Time
Deleting from the app takes effect immediately. Nightly server backups that may still contain your data are deleted within 14 days.
